In January 2021 NordicTB launched the #TravelmemoriesLatvia social media campaign in collaboration with the Latvian National Tourist Office, to create content about previous travels to Latvia, aimed towards the Nordic market: Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark.
The campaign was designed to showcase great travel memories, to keep Latvia as a destination top of mind, without encouraging people to travel now. The #TravelmemoriesLatvia campaign was a digital campaign only and involved no travels.
The campaign consisted of written blog posts, social media sharing, and travel memories from Latvia.
Eight (8) Nordic influencers representing eight different blogs wrote about their previous travels in Latvia, sharing it as a great travel memory. All bloggers pitched an article idea based on the themes: Gastronomy, Culture and Lifestyle, SPA and wellness, Active tourism, and Nature.
The bloggers had a minimum deliverance of one blog post and social media sharing of posts across their blogs channels.
