World Tourism Forum was held in Istanbul february 16th to 18th, 2017. During the three conference days both Turkish and international ministers from over 20 countries were gathered together with over 3000 guests. The Global meeting was organized with the concept “Boundaries as Barriers: Smooth and Secure Travel”.
As part of the official program there were several influencer sessions and panel discussions with influencer, the travel industry and destination marketing related topics. Two of our members, Janicke Hansen from Let’s get lost and Regitse Rosenvinge from The Copenhagen Traveler, represented NordicTB in panel debates about Destination Marketing and Luxury Travel.
