Several NordicTB members were invited to the North Europe Workship organized by the German National Tourist Office in Tallinn, Estonia.
The goal of the workshop was to hold a series of blogger meetings with German destination representatives as well as seminars spotlighting Germany as a top travel destination.
Our bloggers were also able to share more information about our #WurstAdventure campaign which was developed in cooperation with the GNTO Norway office.
Here are some thoughts about the workshop from two of several who were in attendance.

At the end of October I attended the North Europe Travel Workshop in Tallinn, Estonia. As well as meeting representatives from a large number of German destinations who sell to the Northern European market we also presented the #WurstAdventure project.
This collaboration between the German Tourist Office and Nordic Travel Bloggers was a huge success as shown by the preliminary statistics unveiled at the workshop. All parties involved were extremely pleased with the results and the project will provide a model for future collaboration between NTB and travel destinations

Workshop in Tallinn. It was a great opportunity to meet and greet with a number
of people in the German tourism industry, and for us to represent Nordic Travel
Bloggers. My general impression was that there is a definitive
interest in collaborating with bloggers (we could easily make several blog trips
happen next year), but that paid campaigns is still a foreign concept.
We also attended a blog-seminar where the new trend was
confirmed: The travel industry is now turning their eyes towards ‘influencers’.
Being ‘only’ a blogger is no longer enough.
